Prep time: 20 minutes
Marinade time: 30 minutes (overnight for best results)

Cook time: 30 minutes  

Ingredients: 

Approximately 2Ibs of chicken thighs or breast sliced 2-3 inches in length

  • 1 cup of Voracious Markets “Sweet & Savory Marinade”

  • 1 cup of Voracious Markets “Kroeung”

  • 1 cup of Voracious Markets “Sweet Fish Sauce Vinaigrette”

  • 1 pack of vermicelli rice noodles

  • 1 pot of water

  • 1 tbsp sugar

  • 1 tsp of MSG (optional)

  • 2 cucumbers cut into small slices (1 centimeter)

  • 2 carrots (cut into julienne slices)

  • 2 cups of shredded green lettuce

  • 1 cup of shredded cilantro

  • 1/2 cup of chopped green onions

  • 3 tbsp of minced garlic

  • 1 tbsp of oil

Step 1: In a large bowl, combine chicken, garlic, sugar, MSG, Kroeung, Sweet & Savory Marinade. Mix thoroughly, cover bowl, & refrigerate for up to 30 minutes (overnight for best results)
Step 2: Soak carrots into a bowl using Sweet Fish Sauce Vinaigrette
Step 3: Bring one pot of water to a boil and add vermicelli noodles. Remove noodles and transfer to a strainer once the noodles have softened.
Step 4: Prepare cast iron pan to reach a temperature of 400-450 degrees & add oil
Step 5: Add chicken to pan and saute until golden brown (approximately 15-20 minutes)
